About the role
A company based in Aragatsotn, Armenia is hiring a full-time Robotics Software Engineer to develop and integrate software for autonomous robotic systems. The role centres on ROS 2, Linux, C++ and Python.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ROS 2 nodes, packages, services and actions, design scalable ROS 2 architectures, configure DDS, QoS and lifecycle nodes, and troubleshoot applications.
- Configure Ubuntu-based Linux systems, work with systemd, SSH and Bash, deploy on NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi, and manage Docker, Git and software services.
- Build robotic applications in C++ and Python, including multithreaded and asynchronous code, and integrate external APIs, libraries and hardware SDKs.
- Integrate LiDAR, cameras, GNSS/RTK, IMU, radar and other sensors; write ROS 2 drivers and use TF2, URDF, CAN, UART, TCP/IP, UDP and MAVLink.
- Configure Nav2, SLAM and localization, support path planning, obstacle detection and sensor fusion, and analyse ROS 2 logs and rosbag recordings.
