Technical Game Designer

About the role

ChillBase studio is seeking a Technical Game Designer to shape the core systems of its upcoming social role‑play game, OneState. You will bridge design, level creation, and development, delivering tools and configurations that directly affect thousands of players.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain game mechanics such as quests, rewards, shops, and events using Unity and internal tooling.
• Create and manage large‑scale configuration data in JSON, YAML or XML, ensuring consistency and validity.
• Develop and improve editor extensions, prefabs, ScriptableObjects, and scene setups.
• Collaborate with developers, artists, and level designers to integrate systems smoothly.
• Document technical specifications, configuration structures, and process guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Technical Game Designer or in a closely related role.
• Strong familiarity with Unity’s workflow (prefabs, ScriptableObjects, scenes, inspector, logs).
• Hands‑on experience handling JSON, YAML or XML data at scale.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows, including branching, merge requests and conflict resolution.
• Ability to write and maintain internal tools using C#, Python, Lua or JavaScript.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Willingness to work onsite in Limassol, Yerevan or Almaty.
